Hyphen: Gabriela’s Story is a short documentary which explores the cultural identity of a multiracial family in Canada. The film challenges definitions of identity and is an earnest and intimate portrayal from the filmmaker’s personal life. This short film is the first part of a bigger project, looking at multiracial identity across Canada.

Dreaming in Colour is an experimental documentary, created by Sabrina Catalogna and myself, which explores the visual perception of Kim Holdbrook, a blind woman. It features the daily life and struggles of this single mother and focuses on her journey through the disability and her now positive outlook of her situation.

To showcase the Broadbent Institute’s inaugural Progress Summit, MediaStyle created an on-site digital communications hub to record and edit interviews, manage live blogging and create up-to-the-minute content.
